April 2018 Photographer of the Month Krista Lynn

Krista was born in Medicine Hat, and raised in Bassano. She owned her first camera before she could drive. It was a passion that went by the wayside until 2016. Since then, she studied with Robert Scott and Scott Diamond from Expand photo (formerly Abandoned Alberta), and Greg Johnson from Tornado Hunters. In May Krista is travelling to the states with Tornado Hunters to (hopefully) capture a photograph of a tornado.  Her passion is night photography, light painting, stars, storms, and teaching photography. She is currently learning night portraiture.  Her photography goals include learning from Colby Brown in Iceland, being accepted as a member of VAST photos, and leading an international photography workshop of her own.
Besides photography, Krista is also an applied kinesiologist, and a member of Medicine Hat chapter Pecha Kucha team. If there is any question where to find Krista, it will be somewhere with her dogs and her camera, or on a body of water where kayaking is possible. (Possibly along with her dogs and her camera. Lol!)
